As the end of the 2017-2018 school year draws near, we are
celebrating the success and growth achieved by our students. In the past,
we have been able to provide you with your student’s yearly progress in the
form of report cards, reading levels, and STAAR State Assessment scores by the
last day of school. Because the state assessments were administered later
this year, scores will not be reported until after school is out. The State has
set a target date of mid-June to report the individual student scores.
Since STAAR results are not available before the end of the
school year, Pasadena ISD will be providing families with STAAR results
electronically utilizing the Texas Assessment Student Portal. The Student
Portal provides students and parents with online access to his/her state
assessment scores.
Once Pasadena ISD receives the student results in June, we
will send communication via School Messenger and social media to remind
families to log on to the Texas Assessment portal to view test results.
Go to https://txparentportal.emetric.net/login
Click on the “Lookup Access Code” option on the same screen.
You must enter your student’s first name, PEIMS ID # (Social Security number),
and the date of birth. If your student does not have a Social Security number
yet, the school district has assigned your student a state ID#. Contact the
Pasadena ISD Student Assessment Department at 713-740-5258 for assistance.
Pasadena ISD recognizes and supports the important role
parents play in the education of their children. Our school staff depend upon
and look forward to working with you to help your child succeed.
Sincerely,
